Stitch was first launched in 2014 as a standing sound absorber/room divider. After proving extremely efficient in acoustic testing, the stitch family is now extended with table-mounted screens, where Stitch works both for privacy and seclusion as well as a very efficient sound absorber.
Inspired by sofas, cushions, rugs and padded down jackets, I sought to create softer surroundings. The combination of thick lined fabric with embroidered check patterns and lacquered ash legs brings out an express sense of softness. The combination of different materials in the screen adds further acoustic properties. The thickness and structure also change a space’s acoustics dramatically, creating softer tones.
